Meet the Mechanic - Chris

How did you begin working in the trailer industry?

I used to work on double glazed windows before getting into the vehicle industry. I then found a job working for a tanker company which was acquired by TIP and I have been here ever since!

What do you like about working for TIP Trailer Services?

I have been working at TIP a long time, so I get on well with everyone and the working atmosphere is good! The benefits on offer here are also really good.

What’s your biggest work achievement?

There was a customer who wanted to rent a tanker but there was a technical problem which needed to be fixed first. I came up with a plan to fix the issue and managed to get the tanker sorted and ready for the customer. The customer was very happy with the outcome.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love spending time with my two kids. I also play football for my local team and enjoy snooker as well!
