Leading tyre manufacturer Continental has refurbished its own trailers to give them a new lease of life, courtesy TIP’s national Trailer Refurbishment Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

Six months after the DVSA updated its Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness, TIP has fitted 23,000 trailers with BrakePlus, its Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring System (EBPMS), helping operators meet the revised braking system assessment guidelines introduced in April, all while increasing operational efficiencies, reducing costs and improving safety.

J’Nai, he’s one of our own – as the song goes. We know J’Nai as an essential part of TIP’s finance team, but he’s also an important member of the Bermuda international football squad, playing a key role in their World Cup qualifier matches against Cayman Islands and Cuba recently ! As reported in April, all 14 students from the second TIP Mechanic Academy group graduated, with each now progressing into the next phase of their careers, including working toward further qualifications.
