TIP Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

Throughout this week (7th-13th Feb), TIP will be celebrating National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), an annual recognition of the amazing work and contribution apprentices make to businesses.

It's National Apprentice Week 2022!

This year, NAW aims to reflect on how apprenticeships can help individuals develop the skills and knowledge for a rewarding career, as well as how apprenticeships help businesses develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.

TIP recognises the importance of apprentices every week of the year, our scheme operating for several years now and having been considerably expanded and enhanced recently. The scheme involves students embarking on a comprehensive course, dedicated to trailers and ancillary equipment and incorporating college-based work along with on-site, hands-on training.

Roy Thomas, TIP Maintenance Leader UK & Ireland, speaks to us about why our workshop apprenticeships are so important:

Keep an eye on this page, as we will be updating it daily during NAW with links to a range of apprentice-related pages, including Q&A’s with some of our very own apprentices!
