‘Fat Bottomed Boys & Girls’ Gear Up for 12th Charity Challenge: The TIP Bull Run
Our beloved ‘Fat Bottomed Boys & Girls’ return in a few weeks for a 12th cycling challenge attempting to raise £100,000 for charity.
This year, around 55 riders — including TIP customers, partners and colleagues from across the UK and Ireland transport and logistics community — will take part in the three‑day adventure, known as The TIP Bull Run. The challenge will take place from 6–8 May, covering approximately 350 kilometres across southern Spain.
Starting in Seville, the group will head east towards the historic Moorish city of Córdoba before turning south into the mountains. Riders will pass through the dramatic landscapes surrounding the Antequera National Park and skirt the Montes de Málaga before finishing at Malaga’s iconic bullring in the heart of the city.
The route is known for its demanding climbs and varied terrain, offering a serious test for participants. The team includes cyclists of all experience levels — from seasoned riders to first‑timers.
This years ambitious target aims to raise £100,000 for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, a vital Staffordshire-based hospice that provides exceptional care to those in need. The various FBB&G teams have raised more than €880,000 for various charitable causes over the years !
