TIP Group delivers new HVO-powered DAFs to Vantec
TIP Group has supplied Vantec with seven new DAF XF tractor units that are powered by Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), helping our third party logistics provider customer to boost its sustainability goals.
Vantec will see its fleet benefit from a 90 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions when running HVO fuelled trucks, the DAF trucks also benefitting from the latest advancements in aerodynamics.
As part of the agreement, TIP has also supplied Vantec with 16 new SDC Freespan ENXL curtainsiders, on a long-term basis, featuring steel reinforced heavy duty floors and custom curtain tie backs.
The trailers are being supplied to include maintenance and repair services, which will be carried out on Vantec’s site at Winsford, Cheshire, utilising TIP’s fleet of fully equipped mobile service units.
The 16 new trailers have been fitted with BrakePlus, TIP’s EBPMS, and also feature TIP Insight telematics for tracking purposes.
Vantec’s key customer sectors include automotive and premium vehicles, construction equipment, lighting, electric battery and offshore renewable industries.
