TIP Partners with Gist for Christmas Peak Trailers

Gist has selected TIP to provide their additional trailers for this year’s Christmas peak period.

TIP’s focus on safety and service was key in Gist’s selection of the supplier for their trailers on a variety of leasing agreements. In the traditionally busy Christmas peak, Gist can potentially increase the fleet size up to 900 trailers over a short time in order to cope with demand.

Mike Furnival, TIP Managing Director said: “Gist’s chilled food logistics business requires a flexible approach to accessing a range of reliable, modern trailers to meet their seasonal demand for single and double deck trailers for both fridge and ambient products.”
