TIP Group secures EcoVadis Silver Rating for second consecutive year, positioning the company in the top 20% among the 100,000-plus companies globally

TIP Group proudly announces that it has once again achieved the prestigious EcoVadis Silver rating, a testament to their steadfast commitment and efforts towards sustainable business practices. This accomplishment positions the company in the top 20% among the 100,000-plus companies globally. Furthermore, it highlights the fact that TIP Group is a crucial partner for customers as well as suppliers on their pathway to more sustainable supply chains.

EcoVadis, a renowned platform assessing companies' environmental, social and governance performances worldwide, has acknowledged TIP Group's continuous efforts in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Silver Rating based on 62 points was assessed in the renting and leasing of motor vehicles sector.  

TIP’s focus areas and key goals are aimed at making a real impact through tangible action and leadership. Introducing electric vehicles like electric refrigerated trailers and electric trucks, expanding our refurbishment program for used assets, and launching the TIP Mechanics Academy are all initiatives that substantiate our commitment to a more sustainable economy.

For evidence-based analysis and continuous improvement, TIP engages in regular assessments by leading external organisations such as EcoVadis. TIP’s approach to sustainability is outlined in the company’s sustainability report. 

The EcoVadis Sustainability Rating underscores once again TIP’s commitment to sustainability practices across the entire value chain. Expanding TIP Group’s principles to the entire value chain will be the next big step on TIP Group’s sustainability journey.

He’s one of our own …

J’Nai, he’s one of our own – as the song goes. We know J’Nai as an essential part of TIP’s finance team, but he’s also an important member of the Bermuda international football squad, playing a key role in their World Cup qualifier matches against Cayman Islands and Cuba recently ! When his opportunity came, J’Nai put in a solid performance, doing his bit to help the team win both matches to finish second in their group and advance to the next round to be played in September. It was an experience that he’ll never forget.
