TIP Acquires Eurotrail

TIP has acquired Steers Group Limited and its wholly owned subsidiary Eurotrail UK Limited, effective November 1st.

Eurotrail UK Limited November

Established in 1997 by Alan Steers (who used to work for TIP back in the 80s!), Eurotrail provides a range of leasing, rental, maintenance and fleet management services to the commercial vehicle industry.

The acquisition forms a part of TIP’s asset diversification strategy, with Eurotrail’s fleet of HGV being a varied one that includes specialised vehicle bodies, crane, hookloader and cement mixers. It will enable TIP to work with new customers, supporting them with a wide range of commercial vehicle services, complementing the existing offering from Grayrentals, TIP’s commercial vehicle hire business.

Members of Eurotrail’s management team will remain with the business, as too will key members of staff who have been crucial to the successful development of the Leeds-based business over the last 28 years.
