New Fleet and Engineering Director Appointed at TIP

Operations Director of TIP’s trucks division, Mark Carlin, has been appointed to the role of Fleet and Engineering Director as part of a restructure, following the integration of Grayrentals into TIP.

Mark has a wealth of experience in the supply chain, transportation and fleet sectors, joining TIP Group in 2022 from Ryder.

Mark’s appointment will serve to strengthen TIP’s engineering and maintenance functions across both the truck and trailer sectors and will see him take overall responsibility for TIP’s maintenance, engineering and quality standard functions.

Mark will also oversee the TIP Mechanic Academy, a first of its kind in the transportation industry, which has been set up to provide comprehensive technician training to the next generation of mechanics.
