Meet the TIP Manchester Team

The team at TIP Manchester is managed by Mike Callan (Branch Operations Manager). Mike has been with TIP since 2003 as an Operations Assistant, becoming the Assistant Branch Operations Manager in 2006 and the Branch Operations Manager in 2014. He has a young son and his hobbies include cycling, gaming and moaning about Manchester United.

Mike is supported by Mike Byrne, Jon Cashin, Jamie Winters and Paul Tattersall.

Mike Byrne (Assistant Branch Operations Manager) has worked in many roles within the branch to gain the necessary experience needed to become the Assistant Branch Manager in January 2020. Manchester City fan!

Jon Cashin (Operations Assistant) joined the team in May 2017 and quickly settled in to become a team player. Jon was brought up in Milton Keynes but is a Liverpool fan and so has been gloating a lot of late. Jon is also a keen carp fisherman and is the current TIP Fantasy Football champion!

Jamie Winters (Operations Assistant) joined TIP in April 2019 and quickly became an integral part of the team due to his unflappable nature and can-do attitude. Manchester United fan!

Paul Tattersall (Workshop Manager) has been with the TIP Manchester team since 2013 and is one of our most experienced and respected fitters. He’s always willing to help everyone with little fuss when needed.

Paul oversees a team of mechanics as pictured below.

Chris Bellas (Workshop Mechanic) joined the team in 2013. Chris has become one of the most dependable fitters in the workshop - always here every day and always steps up to help others when needed.

Dave McNelis (Workshop Mechanic) and Carl Minney (Workshop Mechanic) are the shortest serving members of the team, only joining in September 2020, but both have settled in quickly and are well liked in the workshop. Already valuable members of the team.

Dave Blane (Operations Workshop Driver) is our longest serving member of staff going all the way back to 1995! Dave has vast experience of driving trailers and we don’t know what we’d do without him!

Ellis Tattersall (Workshop Mechanic Apprentice) is the son of Paul. Due to his friendly personality he’s well liked in the office and workshop, is keen to learn and is progressing well - he is sure to become a valuable technician in the near future.
