TIP Mechanic Academy students pass mid-course exams

Great news from the TIP Mechanic Academy, with all 12 of our student trailer mechanics from across the UK passing their ‘mid-course’ exams just before Christmas.

It's a significant milestone for our trainees and for TIP, but also for the transportation industry as a whole, given the training program is the first of its kind within the sector.

The academy students are now at the half-way stage or their 9 month training program and we are incredibly proud of their achievement thus far. Upon successful completion of the course, which commenced last September, the student mechanics will graduate in the spring to become fully fledged trailer technicians with industry recognised qualifications. They will then return to their respective local TIP branch to benefit from further mentoring.
