TIP bags a hat-trick at the BET365 Stadium!
We were delighted to attend the 2022 Dougie Mac Business Partnership Awards last week and come away with a hat-trick of awards.
The event was held in recognition of those businesses who have supported the Staffordshire-based hospice, which amalgamated with the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice, during 2021.
TIP won the ‘Platinum Partnership Award’ for support exceeding £20k in 2021 for its efforts raising funds via its Fat Bottomed Boys & Girls charity cycle ride. With the cycling challenge now an annual event, TIP was also recognised for a ‘milestone’ award, winning the ‘Lifetime support exceeding £100k’. Finally, we received a ‘commendation’ for the ‘Charity Champion Award’ (well actually our very own Janice Marshall did anyway, for her commitment to making the charitable events and donations happen).
Dougie Mac provides hospice services and excellent care to over 3,500 people that have life-limiting illnesses, including for their loved ones, in the Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire surrounding areas. For more on Dougie Mac, visit here.
TIP continues to support such a fantastic charity and, in fact, its ‘FBB&G’ team of 40 has just last week completed another 3-day arduous charity bike ride cycling over 300 kms to raise further, much needs funds.
