FAQ Leasing
Under the standard conditions you should drop off the equipment at the same location where you picked it up. We can make exclusions on request, but additional charges may occur. Please contact your TIP account manager in this case.
Most of the information can be found on our equipment page. If you need additional information, please let us know and we will contact you as soon as possible.
If you want to rent a trailer, tanker or other type of equipment for more than 12 months, it will be considered as lease.
If you wish to rent for less than 12 months, please see our rental options.
Yes, all assets that are presented under equipment are available for leasing.
We have an extensive fleet of trailers, tankers and other assets. Most of our equipment is displayed here. If you submit a quote, we will assist you with your request. In case you need very specific equipment, possibly we will be able to buy this equipment new and lease it to you. Please contact us for more information.
We have standard terms & conditions, they are integral part of a contract and added with every new contract. We can also send them on request.

For all leases of 12 month or longer, multipe service options can be selected. If you chose full service, this includes servicing, tyre replacement, axle and brake parts replacement, refrigeration unit parts replacement, other parts replacement and Roadside Assistance. Details for all maintenance elements can be found in the standard terms and conditions, which are an integral part of a contract and added to every new contract. We can also send them on request.

It depends on the country where you are located. European Standard Equipment is 4000mm based on 5th wheel height between 1120 – 1150mm. These are the official European Height Regulations per country:

We always provide our customers with serviced trailers and a valid MOT.
Full Service will comprise servicing, tyre replacement, axle and brake parts replacement, refrigeration unit parts replacement, other parts replacement and Roadside Assistance service and is compulsory for all hires shorter han 365 (three hundred sixty-five) days.

FAQ Maintenance
We offer a range of services to improve your fleet performance and reduce operating costs, making your operations more agile and profitable. Next to maintenance, we also offer trailer damage repair management.
Yes, we have a full range of MSU's (mobile service units) to provide service on your location.

Yes, we are fully specialized in maintaining semi-trailers and other equipment. Please book your appointment at one of our workshops.
Yes, you will receive service notifications, unless you chose to be self-responsible for the servicing.
Roadside assistance is included with most of our rental, leasing and maintenance contracts. If you want just a Road Side Assistence contract, witrhout maintenance, for your own fleet, that's also possible. Please contact us for a customized offer.
We own more than 80 workshops around Europe. You can find the locations near you on our Location Finder, or you can book an appointment for maintenance one of our workshops.

Our preffered supplier is Goodyear. Next to that we have a wide range of other tyre brands.
We aim to have your equipment ready for a pick up within 1 working day.
Yes we do, in all our locations besides our workshops in UK.
Yes, we have trained mechanics across all regions. We provide truck repair service across whole UK, Nordics and Central region as well as locations of Maasdijk, Breda, Tiel, Amsterdam and Ommen in Benelux.
Yes. We provide this service in all TIP locations in Benelux and Central region, as well as all workshops in Nordics (besides Aarhus), and also in Simonswood branch in The UK.
Yes, most of our locations have washing areas
Yes, in The UK and Nordics our tyre partner is located close to all of our locations, in Benelux we have this service inin Waalhaven, Venlo and Botlek ; in Central region we have it in Halle and Rheda-Wiedenbrück
Yes, in The UK and Nordics our tyre partner is located close to all of our locations, in Benelux we have this service inin Waalhaven, Venlo and Botlek ; in Central region we have it in Halle and Rheda-Wiedenbrück
Yes, our Reefer partner is located close to all of our locations in The UK and Benelux. In Nordics we have this service in the following locations: Padborg, Taulov, Taastrup, Hirtshals, Helsingborg, Jönköping, Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Säve, Oslo, Vestby, Stavanger. We do not provide this service in Central region.
No we do not provide this service at TIP. However, we have good relationships with approved independent cleaning stations and are able to refer you.
