TIP Group’s Delta Park Dourges renews highest truck parking security level certification TAPA PSR1 (2023 standards)

Delta Park Dourges has achieved the highest level of security certification available - TAPA PSR1 under the demanding new 2023 standards. This milestone, combined with major facility expansions completed in 2023, positions the northern France facility as the benchmark for secure truck parking across Europe

The certification aligns fully with the EU's Safe & Secure Truck Parking Areas (SSTPA) regime, ensuring Delta Park meets the highest EU standards for both security and driver welfare. 

Enhanced driver experience 

The 2023 expansion transformed the driver experience with expanded reception areas, refurbished sanitary facilities, and new amenities including a modern kitchen and fitness room.  

Drivers now have access to increased laundry capacity and can borrow bicycles during rest periods. The facility also features dedicated parking spaces near security for women drivers, alongside efficient digital reservation and monitoring systems that streamline the entire experience. 

Strategic operations in Europe's busiest freight corridors 

Delta Park's strategic location in northern France (approximately 30 km south of Lille) at the junction of the A1/E17 and A21 highways makes it a critical hub on one of Europe's busiest freight corridors.  

The facility has expanded parking capacity to 213 without compromising security standards, while streamlined digital systems ensure operational efficiency for every visit.

The facility's TAPA PSR1 certification under 2023 standards represents the gold standard in European truck parking security. The updated requirements include: 

• Strengthened perimeter security and access control systems 

• Enhanced internal parking area security with improved lighting uniformity and sightlines 

• Advanced CCTV coverage with PTZ cameras and intrusion detection 

• Rigorous operational protocols and documented security procedures 

• Comprehensive staff training and workforce integrity measures
