TIP expands in Germany

BREMEN – TIP Trailer Services (TIP) takes over the workshop operation of Addicks & Kreye Container Service Bremen GmbH.
As of 1 February 2019, TIP has taken over the workshop and the team of Addicks & Kreye Container Service Bremen GmbH. Addicks & Kreye and TIP have had a successful cooperation for many years. In the past, the location in Bremen was used as a TIP sub-depot for rental services, from February it will continue under TIP flag independently.
Excellent location
Oliver Bange, Managing Director Central and Eastern Europe at TIP says: “As part of our expansion strategy, we are further expanding our workshop network and we’re pleased that we have another well-equipped subsidiary in Bremen.”
The workshop is situated on a 13,000 m² area, next to a semi-trailers parking area, where workshop and rental customers can be fully served daily from 7 am to 5 pm. “With a very good transport connection to the freight traffic center (GVZ) Bremen and the A27 and A1 motorways, we can serve existing customers even better and appeal to new customers as well,” adds Peter Marquardt, Regional Operations Director at TIP. The new location offers a comprehensive range of services for the commercial vehicle industry.
Win-win
According to Rüdiger Rempe, Managing Director of Addicks & Kreye Holding the takeover is a win-win situation: “I am delighted that TIP Trailer Services has taken over our workshop operation and has given Addicks & Kreye the assurance that we leave our employees and customers in very good and professional hands.” Currently nothing will change for the workshop customers in Bremen. The contacts for the Bremen location remain the same, and the location is now available to TIP rental customers from the region for full service.
