TIP Group appoints Maurice Meijer as Chief Digital and Information Officer
The newly created CDIO role reflects the growing importance of digital, data and technology in delivering TIP’s Strategy 2030 ambitions. As TIP continues to strengthen its position as a full-service transportation solutions partner across 17 European countries, digital transformation will play a critical role in enabling business growth, operational efficiency and an enhanced customer experience.
As CDIO, Maurice will be responsible for defining and executing TIP’s digital, data and technology strategy across the Group. His remit includes digital platforms, data and analytics capabilities, IT operations and cybersecurity, ensuring scalable, secure and future-ready solutions that support TIP’s long-term ambitions.
Maurice brings extensive experience as a board-level technology and transformation leader. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology and Information Officer at Nederlandse Loterij, where he led large-scale digital and technology transformations across multiple brands (including Staatsloterij, Lotto, Toto, Lucky Day, Eurojackpot, Miljoenenspel and Lotify) and platforms. Earlier in his career, he held senior digital, product and operations leadership roles across technology and public-sector organisations. He is also active as a founding partner and investor supporting early-stage technology ventures.
Maurice has completed an executive management program at Nyenrode University, attended INSEAD, and holds a degree in international business management from Hogere Hotelschool Den Haag. He combines strong business acumen with deep, hands-on technology expertise.
