The second year of running the TIP Global Food Drive — more than 590 bags of donations!
More than 800 million people in the world are experiencing hunger. The drastic increase in the cost of living puts more and more people in tough situations, and they need the support from foodbanks. TIP Group actively supports communities who encounter food insecurity and takes a stand on the problem of hunger in the world. Therefore, once again we launched a TIP Global Food Drive campaign in 2022, to make a difference together, which is needed now more than ever.
From November to December 2022, we successfully ran this initiative across our European and Canadian locations. The goal was to collect food and other necessary items, to support national food bank organizations in both continents.
Thanks to everyone's contribution, we collected almost 100 more bags of food than last year!
We are proud of everyone’s generosity! TIP employees and partners worldwide filled 595 bags with non-perishable food products and essential items. Our teams donated to more than 33 food banks, supporting families during festive winter season.
Our huge THANK YOU to everyone that participated and made this possible. This was our second time launching a Global Food Drive campaign, and we will continue this initiative in 2023.
