TIP Canada joins Transportation Equipment Network (TEN)

Amsterdam, 15 April 2024

Today, I Squared Capital, the owner of both TIP Group and Transportation Equipment Network (formerly Star Leasing group and now rebranded ‘TEN’) has announced a transformative deal which sees TIP Canada joining Transportation Equipment Network to form the second largest trailer leasing enterprise in North America.

For TIP Group this transaction enables us to focus on our core and home market in Europe, aligning with our vision to be a leading equipment service provider.

For TIP Canada, the aligned customer landscapes present opportunities for growth and expansion, benefiting both entities and our customers. The combined group will provide services including integrated leasing, maintenance, advanced technological solutions, consultation services and innovative fleet electrification offerings across numerous industry verticals. This strategic consolidation also empowers Transportation Equipment Network with enhanced purchasing capabilities and synergies, given the similarities in parts and assets across operations in the United States and Canada.
