Peter Jan Troost appointed Vice President of TIP Benelux Region

TIP Trailer Services, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital and one of the leading trailer leasing, rental, maintenance and repair providers across Europe and Canada announces that Peter Jan Troost will follow up Rogier Laan as Vice President for the Benelux Region.

After 13 years of pursuing other opportunities, Peter Jan is re-joining TIP again from June 1st. Peter Jan started as Key Account Manager with TIP in the Benelux, then became Sales Manager for TIP France after which he returned to the Netherlands as Business Development Manager for TIP. In his last role in TIP, he was Vice President for TIP Eastern Europe.

Since then, Peter Jan held senior management roles at UTC, Imtech, Honeywell, Habasit. Most recently, he was General Manager for Boels Industrial Benelux and Germany, a leading equipment rental-company for Power, Lighting, Air Welding, Hoisting & Lifting equipment and tools for industrial customers. Peter Jan holds a Master of Business Management (Bedrijfskunde) from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Additionally, on June 1st, Rogier Laan who is currently VP of the Benelux region, has been appointed as VP Sales and Marketing. In addition to focusing on our International and Strategic Accounts customers, our Marketing Strategy and leading the European Transport Board, Rogier will also be driving Sales Force Effectiveness as a critical strategic initiative for our 2025 strategy.

Before becoming Vice President of TIP Benelux region, Rogier led the commercial function in the capacity of European Commercial Operations Leader for GE Equipment Services. Prior to that role, Rogier was the Director Pan European Accounts for TIP until 2009 and during his long career with TIP, Rogier held various roles within sales, but originally joined TIP in the Finance function as an accountant.
