TIP Group Breaks Ground on Major Helsingborg Workshop Expansion

22th of October

Today, TIP broke ground on the expansion of its workshop facility in Helsingborg as part of the company's long-term strategy to strengthen its service network in Sweden and across the Nordic region.
The expansion is driven by increasing demand for maintenance and repair services and is designed to ensure that TIP can continue supporting customers with the capacity, expertise, and responsiveness they need to keep their equipment on the road.

Once completed, the Helsingborg facility will become TIP Group's largest workshop in the Nordics. By bringing together multiple service capabilities at one location, the expanded site will significantly increase capacity and enable TIP to support customers more efficiently with a broader range of services.

“This investment is a significant step in TIP’s continued development in the Nordics and reinforces our ambition to provide industry-leading service solutions,” says Christian Petersen, VP & Managing Director Nordic at TIP Group. “The expanded Helsingborg facility will allow us to serve more customers, offer a wider range of services, and further enhance the responsiveness, expertise, and quality that define the TIP experience.”

The project includes:
• Expansion of the trailer workshop from 3 to 22 service bays
• Relocation and integration of the reefer workshop to the same site
• Expanded and modernised employee facilities to support a growing workforce
• Establishment of a Swedish trailer mechanic training academy to help develop the next generation of skilled technicians. The new training academy will support the development of future trailer technicians and help ensure the skills and expertise needed to support customers for years to come.

The project is being constructed by MTA Bygg & Anläggning AB, a well-established regional construction company with extensive experience in industrial and workshop facilities and a strong focus on quality, safety and sustainability.
The expanded workshop facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
