TIP Canada recognized for 6th year as Top Fleet Employer of Distinction by Trucking HR

This recognition acknowledges TIP’s on-going work and commitment to implementing the best human resources practices across the country. The Top Fleet Employers Program is a Canadian program that recognizes the importance of having sound HR policies and practices in the trucking and logistics industry. Top Fleet Employers is recognition for those who meet HR standards of excellence, and are leaders in promoting a positive image of the trucking and logistics industry.      

Each year trucking and logistics companies undergo a rigorous application process, but only the best are recognized as Top Fleet Employers. Policies and practices are reviewed including how a Company supports charities, environmental initiatives and social activities for employees. All applicants are rated on topics including recruitment and retention practices, workplace culture, compensation, training and skills development, and innovative HR practices.  

The annual Trucking HR Awards Gala to be held in Canada later this year, will celebrate the most impressive workplaces across the country, taking into consideration online applications and employee surveys which look at a variety of HR best practices. The event is made possible by Trucking HR Canada’s partners and sponsors which include transportation industry leaders across the country.
